Description

As a Category Manager - Heating & Cooling and Mechanics EMEA AirTech, you will work in an international environment in close collaboration with local, European and global suppliers and broad network of internal stakeholders. You will be part of a cross-functional teams that are responsible for driving strategic sourcing and category management initiatives. Your role will be to the owner of the relevant Category strategy development and deployment in EMEA for AirTech sites (the main factories are in Sweden and the Czech Republic). You will also:

• Follow category market trends
• Develop strategies for relevant categories
• Make the supplier selection best suited for long term category Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) development and risk levers
• Lead negotiations for relevant categories, negotiate and put contract terms and conditions in place
• Identify opportunities, implement and follow-up Value engineering and Value analysis cost out projects

Profile

We're looking for an experienced sourcing professional who can drive category strategy and related projects with the help of internal users and external suppliers.

These are the requirements that we believe are essential to be successful in this role:

• Relevant experience in the field of procurement with good knowledge of direct categories (for example, HVAC equipment, heat exchangers, pumps, or any other mechanical categories)
• Good time management skills and project management skills
• Ability to work in a team with attitude to go beyond set current duties
• Solution orientated and self motivated individual
• Fluency in English, Swedish would be an advantage but not essential
• Ability to travel within EMEA to evaluate suppliers and visit Munters facilities and factories (in Sweden and Czech Republic)
