This Client in the EdTech space located in Stockholm works with a range of public sector institutions ranging from schools, universities to local government agencies and emergency services. They possess a great start-up culture, work lean/agile processes but are backed by a VC group that is very hands-off allowing for greater freedom in company operations (start up culture) while not having to worry about financial struggles. They are a very flat organisation, it's easy to get decisions made and your voice heard, and in this role you would have a large impact on the company - with plenty of focus on customer interaction, decision making and new development methods.

The role;

You will be building new features for the platform based on voluminous customer requests; extending the back-end, upgrading the front-end, migrating some legacy elements to Vue (moving JSP's, refactoring Angular code etc). The team works cross-functionally, you will work closely with designers, PO's and other internal stakeholders to ensure all parts of the learning platform are congruent.

Requirements;
Minimum 4 years experience experience working full-stack with Java and JavaScript

You MUST be interested in working with Vue - experience not essential (we will look at people with React and Angular) but all greenfield development is going to be with Vue.js

Experience with Kotlin is a bonus - the company is currently researching feasibility of migrating the codebase to Kotlin, also considering releasing a mobile app which will likely be based on Kotlin code
