Job Description

In this role you'll be joining a world renowed sustainability-technology start-up as they look to implement more structure into their current tech team ahead of some exciting plans to scale up the team in 2023.

Working in a really cool Stockholm central office, you'll be working directly beneath the C-Suite and Co-Founders, looking to lead a team of 8 engineers on their journey to promote more sustainable ways of living!

Role & Responsibilities

  • Upon joining this team you will become responsible for the management of 8 people, immediately taking on direct report responsibilities and all associated tasks
  • Acting as a 'go-to' person for all high level technical problems relating to architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps toolings and potential innovations in the future tech roadmap
  • Taking active measures to improve current development processes, increasing developer velocity, leading implementations of the tech roadmap. In the coming 12 months you will likely become increasingly involved with recruitment to the tech team also

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 years of professional experience leading, development and managing engineering teams (It's a HUGE bonus if you've done this in a fast-paced scale up environment!)
  • Solid technical background involving modern cloud solutions, architectural patterns and scaleability
  • Strong business accumen and communication skills; in this role you'll be tasked with prioritising tasks on behalf of the team, and looking to communicate this in the most effective way
