ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Digital Business Development Manager to join Fenix Outdoor, B2C area that covers e-commerce sales, payments, order fulfillment, customer service, user experience, content & digital assets, to name a few. We are digitalizing & transforming our business and looking for someone to drive the digital acceleration and global initiatives linked to strategic B2C objectives and priorities.

Focus on the value chain, from when a product starts to be marketed/sold through e-com/retail until a product is shipped from our warehouses to the end user. This role will have a good understanding of all aspects of B2C operations and processes.

In this role, you will coordinate cross-functionals teams (e-com, marketing, IT) to steer in the same strategic direction. You will be a key part of understanding, navigating and leading business development with digital projects, activities, change management in both Europe and North America, as well as helping mature and grow technology knowledge in the business.

You will set a roadmap on which you create buy-in and alignment throughout the organization. Moreover, you’ll help develop solutions, as well as a way to measure and validate. You’ll partner with a cross-disciplinary set of talented individuals, working in a fast-paced environment and help take Fenix Outdoor to the next level.

This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of projects and the organization, as well as facilitate stakeholders’ communication and new ways-of-working with our IT department.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • As a Digital Business Development Manager you are responsible for development and priorities of the B2C digital roadmap - driving improvement initiatives – driving business vision and overall business area roadmap.
  • Drive digital transformation within B2C alongside business stakeholders through understanding their needs, hurdles and opportunities. Represent and advocate for their needs to enable change.
  • Drive business development based on OKRs (initiatives and backlog)
  • Bring forward idea initiatives, pre-studies and business cases jointly with business stakeholders in collaboration with IT. Follow benefit realization post-project delivery.
  • Secure doability of initiatives between business teams and digital delivery teams
  • Map, harmonize and automate business processes and ways-of-working across different brands and/or functions
  • Drive holistic process change, upstream and downstream with business owners and product owners
  • Support with Adoption, Benefits Realization, Training
  • Align and collaborate with equivalent roles in B2B & Value chain area to enable the overall digital vision for the Brands
  • Monitor the market for digital tools & platforms, participate in vendor selection & implementation of right solutions to achieve business objectives

WHO YOU ARE

Requirements:

  • 5-10 or more years as an operative Product Manager or similar role, ideally from direct-to-consumer multi-market brand with strong omni-channel retail operation
  • Demonstrated history of driving strategic business acceleration through e-com business, technology development or consulting within e-com and/or technology development for businesses
  • Track record of driving implementation and developing various digital solutions B2C (e-commerce, payments, fulfillment, customer service, marketing)
  • Strong knowledge in technology/platforms and how they enable business results
  • Highly proficient in digital ways-of-working and in business commercial thinking
  • Professional and proficient in project methods and project tools.
  • Knowledge in business finance
  • Skilled at leveraging communication and planning tools
  • Experience in an English-speaking, international matrix run organization
  • You have a love and respect for nature and the outdoors and an authentic enthusiasm toward the Brands at Fenix Outdoor. You are eager to share your passion and engage others to fall in love with the outdoors
  • Bachelor or Master's university degree in relevant field is a plus
