The new Manager PMO & Project Excellence will have the opportunity to join a truly international advanced chemicals business - focusing both on larger chemicals as well as downstream derivatives and specialty solutions and targeting significant growth and expansion. As the new Manager PMO & Project Excellence, you will be an important contributor in this process, reporting to the Vice President Global Technology & Investments (GTI), Magnus Blohm. The role can be placed in Malmö, Perstorp or Stenungsund.

Main accountabilities and responsibilities

• Provide support to projects and/or coordinate training and coaching

• Owns and maintain project Lessons learned and Evaluation output with the purpose to feedback result and direct improvement areas and be the provider of Project control competencies to projects (Cost estimation, Cost control, Schedule, Project Risk & Opportunities handling)

• Coordinator of GTI fixed cost budget, follow-up and forecasting as well as performance follow-up incl. dashboard, KPIs and Performance reviews

• Ensure that GPM standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project’s execution

• Build relevant relationships with external engineering partners to ensure supply of competence

• Continuously improve PMO competencies and ability to deliver high quality solutions and services to projects.

• Support sub process owners with work process improvements

• Competence development strategy and execution

• Ensure one way of working within respective discipline.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc degree or similar within relevant engineering area with a proven capabilities in organizing and structuring complex assignments.

• Confirmed competence within PMO and/or project management and solid experience within operations and investment projects from a chemical process industry, chemicals, oil or paper industry

• Deep know-how in resource planning and project management

• Excellent prestige less leadership skills

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Good on structure and analysis together with strategic capabilities along with a hands-on approach towards implementation and high capability to diagnose and successfully handle pro-actively complex issues

• Strong in execution and an ability to create attention. A professional who is persistent in his/her approach

• Excellent communication skills and strong in building internal and external relationships and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

• Work process-oriented mindset
