SMT Group Legal department will perform a lot of improvement and optimization efforts the coming year, to secure that way of working and related tools are optimized for the new company.


As a Service Manager for Group Legal application suite, you have an essential role in serving as the point of escalation and collecting feedback and requirements from customers and other stakeholders.

You will become part of a key organization within IT to support and enhance the global use of legal applications. You will be involved in in the stabilization phase of our existing application suite and play a key role in our future optimization efforts. Your contacts with in the company will be: Group Legal team, suppliers and other IT functions.

Your main responsibilities in this role are to Identifying customer needs and translating them into services. Lead the development of the services portfolio. Ensure supplier performance according to agreed SLAs/OLAs​. You will also provide relevant service reporting​, estimate costs for service operations​, establish financial, business and pricing models for the services in scope​, manage tactical planning for service delivery​.

In this role you will act as point of escalation for any operational issues related to the service and be active in restoring service operations following production environment issues or service outages in partnership with others involved in service operations​. You will further rooting cause analysis of underlying problems in the production environment​, supplier performance evaluation.

Initial work location in Sweden; Sandviken or Stockholm.

We also think you have the following experience and knowledge:
  • A few years experience from working with IT application deliveries and system implementations supported with a degree in Information Technology or other relevant education or work experience
  • Service management​ and ITIL
  • Work with outsourced deliveries​ and service partners
  • General technical knowledge of IT solutions
  • It is advantageous if you have previous experience from working within legal
