About the role

For our client, we are now looking for a sharp event coordinator to support in the planning and execution of various events. You will help the marketing team to create inspiring advertising events throughout the year, starting with a kick-off event followed by a series of classes and workshops, primarily in Sweden, the Netherlands and in Denmark. The client is market leader within digital search and digital marketing.

The assignment is planned to start in January 2019 and will continue for 12 months. It is a full-time position and the customer apply a standard of 37,5 working hours per week. Location will be HQ in Stockholm with travels to local markets.

This is basically what you will do:

  • Plan and execute smaller and bigger advertising events
  • Coordinate all tasks connected to the events; logistics, venue, invitation, catering, content etc.
  • Follow-up after each event
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales to make sure correct invitation list in each local market

You will play a key role in the success of the events! However, you will not be alone in this work – you will have close cooperation with international cross-functional teams and you will be a part of a marketing team consisting of three dedicated people.

Now lets speak about YOU!

You probably have 3-5 year of project or event management experience, perhaps from an event agency. You have been running multiple events or projects and have a proven skill of making sure everything is running smoothly. You have been working closely with external vendors and have been working cross-functionally and remotely.

Corporate language is English, so you have to be fluent and as the events will be taking place in different locations and countries, you’ll have to be able to travel quite a lot.
